MIU’s impressive and groundbreaking solar power plant was designed and built with the innate capacity to double its
size and power. Now a cherished donor has put forth a most generous matching grant of $350,000 to quickly help achieve the needed $700,000 to accomplish this key project.
This expanded and upgraded Solar MEG’Array will serve as a permanent “endowment” in support of MIU’s energy needs. It will raise our sustainable energy resources to an impressive 80% of MIU’s total needs—a giant step towards carbon neutrality.
