MIU’s swimming pool has brought decades of delight and relief to our MIU students and campus community. Most important, it is truly essential for our 500 ComPro students who remain on campus throughout the hot Iowa summer.
Finally, after more than 36 years of service, our valiant pool has given up the ghost. And having just endured a summer without it, we have seen how vital it is that we restore it—replacing it with more modern, superior technology.
We are absolutely thrilled to announce that we have a matching gift for this project. Now this MAJOR uplift to our campus can be achieved for half the price. A further $335,000 will transform our antiquated, mothballed campus pool into a stunning oasis that will delight our students and our entire community.

- New Fencing: $55,000
- New Pool Pumps, Filters, and Pool Surface: $225,000
- Renovated Bathhouse: $70,000
- Electrical and Plumbing: $20,000
